MHSU IDENTITY
Core to the identity to Mindbus is the use of “mindbus technique”, an exercise
where you imagine yourself as the driver of a bus and your thoughts as just passengers riding
along with you. The “mindbus technique” is an exercise often practiced in Acceptance and
Commitment Therapy (ACT). The mindbus technique is a way to create “cognitive diffusion.”
This makes your thoughts less powerful by not identifying with them, but rather seeing them as
just temporary experiences passing you by.
