The art therapy session began, filled with the soft scratch of pencils and the gentle scent of paints. The theme for the day was “Draw Your Stress.” Participants were invited to pause and reflect on the things that weighed on them, to imagine what their stress might look like if it could take a visible form. With this image in mind, they picked up their tools—pencils, brushes, and paints—and set about bringing their inner tension to life on their Canva boards. Each stroke and color became a window into their minds, turning invisible worries into tangible art. By the end of the session, the room was a gallery of emotions—some chaotic, some calm—but all deeply personal, a testament to the power of expressing what words often cannot capture.
The Youth Fun Day Kyooto Experience, an annual event, held its third edition on 9 October 2025 at the Bight of Benin. This year’s event focused on supporting street-connected children, with all proceeds dedicated to their welfare. The program featured a wide range of activities, including popular table games such as ludo, draughts, chess, and Scrabble. Participants also engaged in an art-therapy session titled “Colour My Voice,” which encouraged individuals to express their thoughts and emotions through painting on canvas boards. Additional highlights included mind games and live band performances by artists such as Allan Toniks, Chosen Blood, and Amalyn.
